13Eighty Dining Chair is designed for HAY by Scholten & Baijings and shares the same 1,380-perforation moulded polypropylene shell as the armless version of the design — a pattern of holes that generates the chair's characteristic interplay of light, shadow, and transparency. The perforations create a visual rhythm across the shell surface and give the chair an aesthetic identity that is immediately recognisable while remaining formally restrained and versatile across different interior and exterior contexts.

The dining chair version introduces a different configuration or base option within the 13Eighty family, extending the design's applicability across different seating scenarios.
