Bonbon Shade is designed for HAY by Serbian artist and designer Ana Kraš, created using an original hand-weaving technique that produces textured, individually unique lampshades of considerable tactile and visual richness. Every shade is hand-woven with nylon-wool yarn around a powder-coated steel frame, meaning that each Bonbon has a slightly different surface aesthetic — variations in the woven texture and yarn distribution give every piece a one-of-a-kind quality within the consistent formal identity of the design. The result is a shade that is simultaneously a craft object and a contemporary design product.

The Bonbon is available in several designs and sizes, and can be used as a table lamp, floor lamp, or pendant depending on the chosen cord set — a versatility that extends its applicability across a wide range of domestic and hospitality lighting contexts. The woven nylon-wool surface creates a warm, diffused light quality when illuminated, adding textural depth to the lamp's visual character in both lit and unlit states.
