Connect 180 is a king-size bed frame designed by Leif Jørgensen for HAY, the largest version in the Connect Bed series. Like the other Connect formats, it combines the values of traditional craftsmanship with the precision of computer-controlled production to create a bed frame of clean, minimalistic confidence. The four-element slotted construction — two side rails and two end rails — produces a frame of geometric precision without visible fixings, allowing the quality of the construction to speak entirely through the accuracy of the joinery.

The Connect Bed's design philosophy — that a bed frame should provide a precise, resolved structure that supports and presents the mattress rather than competing with it — is expressed most completely at the 180cm width, where the frame's proportions are calibrated to the generous scale of a king-size sleeping surface. The minimal profile keeps the visual weight of the frame low, and the available finish options allow the bed to be integrated into a wide range of bedroom interior directions.
