Korpus Shelf is designed for HAY by Norwegian product designer Andreas Bergsaker — a series of colourful wall-mounted shelves made from sheet aluminium chosen for its combination of lightness, structural strength, and recyclability. The aluminium undergoes an industrial stamping and punching process that gives each shelf its precise three-dimensional form, and the material's inherent properties — its ability to be shaped precisely and to hold that shape permanently — are essential to the design's structural integrity and visual character.

The Korpus Shelf is produced from a single piece of stamped aluminium without additional framing or reinforcement, demonstrating that the material and the process are sufficient to create a shelf of genuine structural performance and formal quality. The shelf's production process — industrial stamping rather than assembly from multiple components — supports Bergsaker's goal of creating a durable, multi-purpose shelf from recyclable material with an efficient production method. Available in a range of colours from HAY's collection.
