About this Cad block

Designed by:
Verner Panton

Panthella Table Lamp by Louis Poulsen was designed by Danish architect and designer Verner Panton in 1971, developed in close partnership with Louis Poulsen as a companion piece to the iconic Panthella Floor Lamp. Panton — one of the most inventive figures in twentieth-century Scandinavian design — conceived the Panthella family around a single governing idea: a lamp in which both the stand and the shade function as light-emitting surfaces simultaneously. In the table lamp, the sculpted mushroom-like opal acrylic shade and the curved tulip stem work together to produce a soft, omnidirectional ambient glow, with reflected light from the stem base adding warmth to the immediate surface area below.

The Panthella Table Lamp's fully rounded, organic silhouette — no hard edges, no orthogonal elements, every surface curved — is one of the most recognisable profiles in twentieth-century product design. Its compact scale relative to the floor lamp makes it versatile across a range of surface positions: a sideboard, a generous bedside table, a hotel room desk, a living room console. When lit it glows from within, creating a warm luminous zone around itself; unlit it reads as a confident sculptural object. Available in a range of solid colours and in a white opal version, the Panthella Table adapts to contemporary interior palettes while remaining unmistakably itself.

Interior designers and architects specifying table lighting for residential, hospitality and boutique commercial projects will find the Panthella Table DWG drawing and CAD block essential for surface-level layout and scale coordination. The 3D model and Revit family support BIM-accurate project documentation; the IFC file enables coordinated delivery with M&E consultants. A landmark specification resource for any interior project where Verner Panton's design legacy is part of the brief.

Available as a 2D DWG drawing, 3D model, Revit file and IFC file.
