AAL 92 is a lounge chair from the About A Lounge Chair series designed by Hee Welling for HAY, featuring a compact, sculpted body with shaped armrests mounted on round wooden legs. The design maintains the formal discipline and material clarity that define the About A Lounge Chair collection — an approach in which the proportions, curvature, and material choices are all handled with care and nothing is present without purpose. It is available in both low-backed and high-backed versions, each with a distinct spatial and functional character.

The low-backed version has an intimate, relaxed expression well suited to informal residential and hospitality lounge settings, while the high-backed version creates a more enclosed spatial quality that makes it appropriate for private reading areas, hotel rooms, and any setting where a greater degree of enclosure and personal space is valued.
