About this Cad block

Designed by:
Arne Jacobsen

AJ Table Lamp is designed by Arne Jacobsen for Louis Poulsen — the table lamp format in one of the most celebrated and architecturally significant lamp series in Danish design history. Jacobsen designed the AJ lamp family in 1957 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen as part of his total interior design for the building, creating a coherent suite of lighting fixtures — floor lamp, table lamp, and wall lamp — that shared the same formal language of angled geometry, precise light direction, and material restraint. The AJ Table Lamp has been in continuous production since its design and is recognised internationally as a defining piece of twentieth-century Scandinavian lighting design.

The table lamp's angled shade delivers focused, directional light suited to desktop reading and task use, and the precision of the shade's geometry ensures the light is directed exactly where it is needed without spill or glare at eye level. The formal relationship between the shade angle, the stem profile, and the base is resolved with an architectural precision that gives the lamp a strong visual identity from every angle. Louis Poulsen maintains the exact material tolerances and production quality of the original design, ensuring the AJ Table Lamp is produced with the quality its design heritage demands. Available in the AJ series' colour and finish range.

The AJ Table Lamp CAD block is available as a 2D DWG drawing, 3D model, Revit family, and IFC file, making this iconic Louis Poulsen and Arne Jacobsen table lamp easy to specify in both DWG-based drawing workflows and BIM-based interior and architectural projects. The AJ Table Lamp Revit family and 3D model are well suited to residential desk and reading settings, boutique hotel room specification, and any interior project where a table lamp of exceptional Danish design heritage, directional precision, and strong architectural formal character is the specification requirement.

Available as a 2D DWG drawing, 3D model, Revit file and IFC file.
