N02 Bar Stool is a bar-height version of the N02 Recycle chair designed by Nendo and Oki Sato for Fritz Hansen. Like the dining chair version, the N02 Recycle is made from upcycled plastic household waste and is designed to be fully recyclable at the end of its life — a material and production commitment that makes it one of the more environmentally considered pieces in the Fritz Hansen collection.

A defining feature of the N02 is the crease running vertically up the chair's back, inspired by a folded piece of paper observed in the designer's studio. This crease provides structural rigidity and simultaneously improves ergonomic support for both the upper and lower back — a detail that exemplifies Nendo's characteristic approach of finding solutions that are visually elegant and functionally purposeful simultaneously. Seven colour options inspired by Scandinavian nature allow the stool to be specified across a wide range of interior colour directions.
