About this Cad block

Designed by:
nendo – Oki Sato

NJP Floor Lamp by Louis Poulsen was designed by Oki Sato of the Japanese design studio Nendo, introduced in 2015 as a refined contemporary reinterpretation of the classic anglepoise floor lamp. Sato's approach was to preserve the familiar logic of the adjustable task lamp — jointed arm, directional shade, exposed mechanical elements — while stripping the form back to its most essential and honest expression. The NJP Floor's arm and shade joints are left visible, the springs openly integrated as a decorative and functional element. The material palette is restrained: powder-coated aluminium and steel in a range of tones that suit both residential and professional environments.

The NJP Floor Lamp offers exceptional positional range through dual arm joints and a steplessly adjustable organic head — an important distinction from many standard floor lamps where reach and angle are limited. This makes it particularly well suited as a reading lamp beside an armchair or sofa, allowing the light to be positioned precisely where needed rather than casting a broad ambient wash. The floor lamp's slim vertical profile takes up minimal footprint, and its contemporary, pared-back aesthetic complements both Scandinavian-influenced interiors and more industrial or minimal residential schemes.

Architects and interior designers specifying task-oriented floor lighting for residential, home-office or hospitality environments will find the NJP Floor DWG drawing and CAD block invaluable for furniture layout and spatial planning. The 3D model and Revit family support BIM-accurate room documentation and specification, with the IFC file enabling coordinated project delivery. A precise and versatile specification asset for any project requiring high-quality adjustable floor lighting.

Available as a 2D DWG drawing, 3D model, Revit file and IFC file.
