Moonsetter Floor Lamp by Louis Poulsen was created by Danish architect Anne Boysen as the winning entry in the Next Danish Design Classic competition, broadcast on national Danish television in 2020. The jury praised its simple geometry, clean lines and timeless restraint. Boysen's concept fuses the circle, square and cylinder into a sculptural configuration that straddles the boundary between functional luminaire and art object. Following the competition, Anne Boysen partnered with Louis Poulsen to develop the design into a limited numbered edition — first introduced in Denmark in 2021 in runs of 100 sequentially engraved pieces per edition.
