Ø Solo Stool by Plus Halle was designed by Kilo Design as the single-seat individual piece in the Ø series — a compact, circular-geometry stool that distils the family's island concept to its smallest possible unit: one person, one circular seat, a completely self-contained seating object. The Solo Stool's circular seat and minimal base give it a form that is immediately legible and spatially compact, requiring minimal floor area while providing a proper seated surface. Like the Ø bench family, the Solo's circular geometry means it has no preferred orientation — it can be approached and used from any direction without requiring the user to find a specific seat face, making it highly flexible in dynamic public and commercial environments.
The Ø Solo Stool functions effectively as individual supplementary seating in the same environments where the Ø Small Bench is deployed: cultural institution foyers, retail interiors, corporate social spaces, hotel lobbies and public floors where occasional individual seating is needed without the spatial commitment of a full chair. It can be used as a standalone piece or grouped with other Ø series pieces to create a family-coherent seating zone of varied scales. The stool's compact scale and circular form also make it effective as an accent or display surface — a plant, a sculpture, or a small object placed on the seat surface — in interior contexts where the piece is not in constant seating use.
For architects and interior designers, the Ø Solo Stool DWG drawing and CAD block support individual seat placement and spatial coordination in public and commercial project layouts. The 3D model and Revit family enable BIM-accurate documentation. A compact and formally coherent specification for any project requiring a minimal, flexible individual seat within the Ø series or as a standalone circular stool in a public or commercial interior context.
