Fri Footstool is the companion piece to the Fri easy chair, designed by Jaime Hayon for Fritz Hansen. It shares the same soft, sculpted upholstered form as the chair, maintaining the visual and material consistency that allows the two pieces to work together as a coherent unit. Used alongside the Fri chair, it extends the seated experience by providing a supported resting position for the legs, transforming the chair from a lounge seat into a more fully reclined resting position.

The footstool functions independently as well — its considered proportions and resolved form give it a presence as a standalone piece in a living room or lounge setting, serving as an occasional footrest, extra seat, or decorative object depending on the context. The upholstered surface is available across Fritz Hansen's full range of fabrics and leathers, allowing the footstool to be specified to match or complement the Fri chair or other pieces in the same interior scheme.

The Fri Footstool is well suited to residential living rooms and reading areas, and pairs naturally with the Fri chair in hospitality and executive settings where a complete lounge unit is required. Its compact scale makes it a practical addition without claiming significant floor area.
