NJP Long Wall Lamp by Louis Poulsen was designed by Oki Sato of Japanese design studio Nendo in 2015, as part of the NJP family — a modern reinterpretation of the classic anglepoise lamp adapted for contemporary working and living environments. The Long Wall variant extends the reach of the adjustable arm further than the Short, making it particularly effective in applications where the lamp must travel a significant distance from its wall-mount to the work or reading surface below. Exposed springs at the arm joints and the openly articulated mechanism reflect Sato's honest, functional aesthetic, while the powder-coated aluminium construction delivers quiet material restraint.
