About this Cad block

Designed by:
Poul Henningsen

PH 2/1 Wall Lamp by Louis Poulsen applies Poul Henningsen's three-shade system — developed from 1925–26 and continuously refined throughout his partnership with Louis Poulsen until his death in 1967 — in a directly wall-mounted format. The 2/1 designation refers to the shade ratio: the three stacked shades, each proportion-derived from Henningsen's logarithmic spiral, work together to eliminate glare, redirect light downward and laterally, and produce the characteristic warm shadow-softening quality of all PH luminaires. As the smallest diameter wall lamp in the family, the 2/1 has a compact profile suited to intimate wall positions across residential and hospitality contexts.

Wall-mounted at a standard reading or ambient height, the PH 2/1 Wall Lamp delivers a controlled pool of warm downward light that avoids the harsh contrast of conventional wall-mounted fittings. It is well suited to bedside positions in residential and hotel rooms, corridor lighting, stairwell applications and living-room accent lighting where wall-mounted pendants would be too large. The three-shade system's geometry ensures the lamp remains glare-free even when the viewer's eye is level with the shade opening, maintaining visual comfort in all typical positions.

For architects and interior designers, the PH 2/1 Wall DWG drawing and CAD block provide accurate mounting geometry, shade envelope and projection data for wall layout and interior elevation drawings. The Revit family and 3D model support BIM coordination and IFC documentation for fully coordinated project delivery. A precision CAD and specification resource for residential, hospitality and commercial interior projects requiring authentic PH wall lighting at intimate scale with verified BIM data.

Available as a 2D DWG drawing, 3D model, Revit file and IFC file.
