About this Cad block

Designed by:
Vilhelm Wohlert

Wohlert 300 Pendant by Louis Poulsen was designed by Danish architect Vilhelm Wohlert, best known as co-designer of the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art north of Copenhagen — one of Scandinavia's most beloved cultural buildings. Wohlert's pendant reflects his architectural sensibility: a simple, precise form that achieves its quality through proportion and material honesty rather than decorative complexity. The Wohlert pendant consists of a clean, slightly tapered cylindrical white opal glass shade — the 300 refers to the shade diameter — which distributes an even, downward-focused diffuse light while softly illuminating its own glass surface from within.

The Wohlert 300's cylindrical shade form gives it a more directional character than a globe pendant: the primary light distribution is downward, making it particularly effective over dining tables, kitchen surfaces and work areas where a focused ambient pendant is preferable to an omnidirectional source. The white opal glass provides full source shielding and a characteristic warm, luminous quality when lit. The 300mm diameter makes it versatile — effective as a single pendant over a modest dining table or in a cluster of two or three over a longer surface or kitchen island.

For architects and interior designers, the Wohlert 300 DWG drawing and CAD block support accurate pendant placement and ceiling coordination. The 3D model and Revit family enable BIM documentation; the IFC file ensures coordinated project delivery. A refined and architecturally credible specification for residential and hospitality interior projects where a clean, cylinder-form opal pendant is the design intent.

Available as a 2D DWG drawing, 3D model, Revit file and IFC file.
